The 30-Mile range is the name of John Quarisa’s own private watering hole. Where in his youth he splashed and squealed in its rapid waters and sheltered in the dabbled shade of tall red gum trees that line its banks. From the innocence of a young boy splashing in its currents the 30-Mile has grown to be the lifeblood by supplying the water to majestic aging vines basking in the sun of dry fertile soils.
