ADELAIDE HILLS, SA Adam & Brooke Lampit
So we had this idea of making highly drinkable wines that were accessible to everyone, something you’d taste and say, ‘Mmm… actually, this wine’s really quite good.’ Almost as if it shouldn’t be that good for the price!
And just so you know, we were talking about wines made from select parcels of Adelaide Hills fruit, sourced by us, bottled by us, packaged by us and delivered (to the shops) by us… well, not entirely by us, but every part of the process would be local. The point being, we were going to be hands on – two people who share a passion for all things Adelaide Hills (and a house with two daughters).
So, anyway, we went ahead and made the wines. They’ve become our new ‘bloody delicious, grab half-a-dozen because they’re not that expensive’ range called Aloft.
Why ALOFT? Well we took inspiration from the Lofty Adelaide Hills – hitting the heights of wine without hitting your hip pocket. They are fun, uncomplicated, drink anywhere anytime with anyone.
